CONGREGATION OF THE HOLY FAMILY

The CHF was founded by Bl. Mariam Theresa at Puthenchira in Kerala on 14.05.1914.  'Christianization of Families' is their main apostolate.  They also engage in other activities connected with the well being of families like house visiting, counselling, running schools, dispensaries, homes for the aged, etc.  The primary purpose is to bring Christ into the families.  The Congregation became a Pontifical Right in 1978.  The Sisters are serving the Archdiocese from June 8, 1978.
