News Feast of Don Bosco Hesag 31st January was the feast day of St. Don Bosco the founder of the Salesian Society. The Parish Priest arranged the feast day celebration and invited the Archbishop for the solemn Eucharistic Celebration at Hesag Parish. Mass started at 6.30 a.m., officiated by Most Rev. Telesphore P. Toppo, with 6 Priests and attended by the Ursuline Sisters and the St. Charles Sisters of Hesag. The singing was well done by the apostolic boys of Don Bosco Hesag. The Ursuline Convent hostel girls performed the entrance dance during Mass. Holy Mass was followed by a festive breakfast. After the Mass His grace met the Salesian Cooperators of Hesag: the Don Bosco School teachers, the Don Bosco Fathers and the Apostolic boys separately. In his message he told the Salesian Cooperators to continue to live a genuine Christian life. He told the teachers that they all belong to a big Salesian Family. Hence, first of all they should take care of their families, as family is the smallest unit of the larger Society. He told the Salesian Fathers to keep up the ideals of Don Bosco. Finally he told the Boys to be prompt and do every thing wholeheartedly and to be persevering in all their activities. The day's programme was concluded with a hymn to Don Bosco. |
