KHALARI

Saints John Paul's Church was built in 1981 by De Meulder, S.J. and blessed on November 29, 1981.  Till then Khalari was a part of Lapra parish.  The Church is dedicated to Sts. John & Paul in memory of the present Pontiff His Holiness Pope John Paul II.  Dakra is a flourishing mission centre about 10 km. from Khalari where regular sunday Mass is celebrated.  Pallotine fathers and Ursuline Sisters are working in the Parish.
