LALPUR

Till 1975 Lalpur was visited by TOR Fathers for Mass on Sundays and Feast days.  It was only in 1990 when a multi-purpose community hall was ready that a permanent priest was appointed and he began to live at Lalpur from 1992.

The Holy Cross Sisters opened their convent in 1975 and took up education for the locality.  It was on the request of these Sisters and the local people that the Mission Station of Lalpur was established.
