McMANDRO

The McMandro Church land property was purchased in the year 1980-81 for the purpose of development.  A resident priest was appointed in 1987 and the primary school was opened.  With the arrival of the Bethany Sisters, on July 7, 1987 the School was handed over to them.  The school began to flourish under the care of the Sisters and attracted ever-increasing numbers of students.  Besides, the Sisters are engaged in various women development and vocational training programmes.  In fact the drastic change at McMandro is attributed to them.
