MURI

In 1969 the Catholics of Mesra, Yatra and Indal wrote a letter to the Archbishop requesting him for a parish at Muri.  His Grace promised and in 1971 appointed Fr. E. De Meulder.  In 5 years' time he built a two-storied school building, a big half-circle Church, a technical school, in Singpur a hospital, in Indal an English and a Hindi School.  The Ursuline Sisters who are running the Hindi Middle and High School, and the English School, all for boys and girls, came in 1972 and the Samaritan Sisters in June 1977 to run the Bharat Mata Hospital.
