Mediatrix of All Graces Church, Nawatanr was handed over to Pastoral care of the Pilar (Society) Fathers on 5th January, 2003.  Fr. Hubertus installed Rev. Fr. Christopher Lakra of the Parish Priest of Nawatanr.  The faithful gave a warm farewell to the outgoing Parish Priest and whole-hearted welcome to the New Parish Priest.  Congratulations! 

NAWATANR

Nawatanr parish-constituted in 1949 with parts taken from Mandar and Dighia.  The Brothers of St. Gabriel arrived in 1966 to run the High School for boys and girls.  The arrival of St. Anne's Sisters 1969 was a landmark in the Parish history.  A Middle School for boys and girls is run by them.
