PRABHAT TARA

The Catholic community at Dhurwa had its own chapel years before the arrival of the HEC (1961).  It was visited regularly by priests from Ranchi.  The present buildings were started by Fr. George Zurjsen, when he was parish priest of Doranda to which Dhurwa then belonged.  For several years (1974-1994) the o.s.u. were taking care of the school.  At present the Society of Jesus is in charge.
