The Congregation was founded by Rt. Rev. Thomas Kurialacherry at Champakulam in Kerala, on December 10, 1908.  Their charism is Eucharistic Devotion.  They also engage in educational, social, medical and pastoral apostolates.  Their first house in Ranchi Archdiocese was started at Ormanjhi in 2001.
