SRS. OF CHARITY OF JESUS AND MARY

Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary came to Hulhundu at the invitation of Archbishop Pius Kerketta in March 1962 for the work of evangelization.  The three pioneers were Sr. Mechtilda de Clerk, Sr. Yvonne Naert and Sr. Bimla Mannamplakal.  They started to live in a mud house, devoting themselves to the instruction and education of children, young people and adults, care for the sick and afflicted.
