SOCIETY OF CATHOLIC MEDICAL MISSIONARIES

 The Medical Mission Sisters founded by Mother Anna Dengel in 1925, arrived at Mandar in Ranchi in 1946.  In 1947 on March 19 the feast of St. Joseph the Provider and Protector of the Holy Family, the hospital was officially opened.

In 1949, A grade Nurse Midwifery training school began and in 1951 it was recognized.  A de-addiction cum counselling centre was also added in the early nineties.
