SISTERS OF CHARITY OF NAZARETH

The Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth was founded in Nazareth, Kentucky, USA by Bishop David and Mother Catherine Spalding in 1812.  In 1947, six American Sisters answered the call to missions and arrived in Mokama, Patna and began to serve the poor and needy with health care education, social services and pastoral ministry.
